The seventh season of Netflix’s Black Mirror features a confectionery brand in the episode “Bête Noire”. The company is testing a new version of its HuckleBuck chocolate bars. HuckleBuck is described as a much-loved chocolate bar with marshmallow nougat. Though instead of a gelatin base, the candy bar features carrageenan: a seaweed-based gelatin. Miso jam is incorporated to level out the sweetness.
